First I want to say the service was great. The lady who was our server was 10/10 service. We got the honey walnut shrimp app which was phenomenal!! Best I've ever had. My error, was getting a steak at a place that was catered towards seafood. I had a very underwhelming entree. The prime rib, came out medium when I asked for medium rare/closer to rare. Which it was SWIFTLY corrected and I got a new medium rare slice. The slice was SO thin, like comically thin Lol, and both slices were so it wasn't a fluke. And for being one of the more expensive cuts you'd think you'd get a decent slice... the sides were also incredibly underwhelming. The mash potatoes I would have guessed were boxed mashed potatoes based on the taste and texture, and the broccolini was undercooked and under seasoned or possibly not seasoned at all... a pretty disappointing dish for being an upscale place. It could have been my luck, or dish choice, because my mother's ribeye was great and cooked well. So 4 stars overall for service and app and ribeye but the steaks sides were not great and the prime rib feeling very sparse as if they didn't have enough for the night and had to ration.. Not a bad place... but wouldn't recommend for steak lovers.

First: Our server, Aura, was servicing 2 large parties including another table. She was still attentive to us. She provided great feedback on the menu and provided personal preferences. We had an individual with allergies and she was able to provide alternative options on the spot. Second: Our food was absolutely amazing. Seriously.. amazing.. Also, something that's very very random, but even the cherry is my Old Fashioned was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend the Ribeye too.. this place is a MUST!!

Food is very delicious...no matter what you get! Temperature always as it should be. Food and environment. Wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. View is of ice skating rink. So, it's nice to watch people, while you are conversing and looking out the window. (If you happen to get seated there). Plenty of seating, otherwise. Limited parking. Nice restrooms. Restaurant setting is in Ol Town Folsom. Lots of quaint little shops, restaurants and unique places to visit. Take a nice walk after you eat. You will enjoy it here. :)

I love being able to come by for a drink and a light meal at the bar or a full course dinner with my date. I have been here multiple times and have always enjoyed my experience. The bar is a friendly place to meet new people and other locals. Great place to sit alone and feel welcomed ! We sat outside for a nice dinner out with our doggie and it had been raining pretty hard the morning of but by evening everything has cleared up and they had the heaters blasting! It was cozy and warm with holiday spirit in the air and the ice rink within view. Maybe I'll give it a shot after my knee surgery haha. The food was amazing!!!! The crab bisque is something I will have to try to remake at home. I love the fresh hunk of break they give you as well. I ordered the swordfish and it was delicious. Wine, soups, oysters on the half shell, entrees = $$ but was so good and worth it. They have a happy hour as well I would love to try -cheers!

Moving to the area brought a pleasant surprise with Scott's Seafood in Folsom! We've been here for brunch, late lunch, and dinner more times than I can count, and every time, it just hits the mark. This review is long overdue! We've tried nearly everything on the menu, and honestly, you can't go wrong. The seafood is always fresh, the dishes are full of flavor, and their cocktails are the perfect way to unwind. The service? Always attentive and friendly, making each visit feel special. Whether it's a laid-back brunch or a cozy dinner, Scott's Seafood has become our go-to for consistently great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Mid afternoon light lunch. We both had the grilled chicken Caesar salad with a bowl of clam chowder. It included a complementary side of sourdough bread. It was all excellent. We will be coming back for dinner soon. Highly recommend!

Seafood in central California / historic Folsom seems a bit strange?, but the restaurant was cute, the food was fresh and delicious (and GF and Vegan friendly), and the restaurant was hopping with mostly locals. Like Cheers, everyone knows the local's names. We ate at the bar and our bartender was super friendly and attentive. We had a great dinner. Check out the pics, it's definitely a worthy choice.

What a beautiful restaurant! We were familiar with other Scott's locations, but tried this one for a friend's birthday recently and had a great experience. Started with fresh oysters and all of my group had a different seafood entree. The night wouldn't have been complete without dessert, yea for our birthday guy! We'll definitely make a return trip soon.
